Mock scrapes in ny
My usual hunting method is sit still, be quiet, and wait. But this year my hunting spot has changed because of farm crops. There has always been corn standing during the season, and this year nothing was planted. I am not seeing the deer like I was during daylight hours.
I want to try a mock scrape to increase the activity during shooting hours. I have never used any type of attractants or calls to bring deer in. I am afraid of scarring them away. I need some advice from NY guys. Is it worth trying around this area?
