Yesterday evening I killed (lung shot) a nice doe 17yrds from my stand. I go back in this afternoon to try to kill a buck and when I get up in my stand I notice a brand new scrape that wasn't there yesterday. It was located EXACTLY where that doe was standing when I shot her yesterday evening! I couldn't believe it. I thought this was either a very strange coincidence or it was done very intentionally? Is it possible my shooting that doe triggered a release of some kind of odor that could have attracted a buck, hence the scrape?
