This fiber is really flexible and very easy to work with. I have had great luck with it and it is much cheaper than the short, brittle pieces they offer at the shops here. It' s also affordable enough to messup while you are learning the tricks to working with it. I saw something that gave the melting point at 150 to 180 deg. F. I found a hair dryer or less than boiling water to work for forming the fiber. Having sharp bends or kinks in it will kill its effectiveness. This stuff is great because it doesn' t fracture easily. 1 meter sections are less than $2. I' ve only used the .020" so far but have ahd great success.
