WMU 2A is 61% forested and since areas with more forested area contain more deer, neither you nor Corn can say for sure what the current deer density is in Greene Co. so you can't call Corn a liar based on that.
The 2006 AWR (year you picked) shows a pre season density of 40 DPSM. At 56% forested that translates to around 71 DPFSM. The 2000 preseason DPFSM was at 102

BTW, Did you factor in the 7% decrease in the herd in 2006 which was followed by a 9% decrease in 2007 and a 4% decrease in 2008? If you had you wouldn't come up with 40 DPSM.
