Last year I watched a forkie work over a sapling and snap it off. I had read that long tined bucks can snap off trees when the sapling gets between the tines. This guy's forks weren't big enough, he used both sides to snap it off.
Then, this year, a friend had a trail cam set to video on a thigh sized cedar that was getting shredded. Biggest buck he got on cam was a 110 inch deer.
Sometimes rubs are a community effort which makes them look "hotter" than they are.
Thus, I take rubs with a grain of salt.
