Any deer that has been hit by a car, will be mostly spoiled. You won't see it till its skined out. If it's hit in the head, maybe some of it will be ok. It also has something to do with it not being bled out when hit by a car.
HUH ? i have eaten alot of road kill deer in the last 30 years and
almost all had alot of salvageable FREE meat. sure ,you wont see how bad it is until you skin it,unless it's mangled.
as for being BLED OUT....... how can a deer bleed out if you shoot it dead and its heart is not pumping ?
and this deer was still alive,since he had to shoot it ?
