Our season up here runs from Oct. 1-Nov 14 then Dec. 1-Jan 1 so I like to save a little for each season. I usually take a week from Nov 7-14 then I can take a couple of days to try the rifle out. In December I use up my days here and there (usually around Christmas and New Years to get a couple of days off in a row) I like my winter bow hunting but we really haven' t had the cold or snow in the past few years to get things moving.
