I was driving back to my house on Sunday morning and I saw a deer sitting on the side of the road so I turned around and went back. When I pulled up to it I saw that it was a descent buck that had its antlers tangled in a bunch of vines. I did not know what to do so I call the county sheriff. The sent an officer out and with a little further investigation we found out not only was the buck stuck but had 2 broken legs from being hit by a car. The officer told me that I could shoot the deer or he could so I told him I would shoot it while he made out a tag for me. The buck was a 2 1/2 year old 8 point that weighed about 160 lbs. He only had a 14" spreed but he had a tall rack...and a good story to go along with it.
