Does anybody have experience with the 887? Been looking for a waterfowl gun and after reading a piece on it in F&S, thought it might be worth checking out. Went to Gander and screwed with it and was pretty unimpressed.

It looks nice, and seems like a tough gun but action just seems very cumbersome. It didn't rack well and the release is on the front of the trigger guard and very hard to use. I did like that it was light and the price is very attractive as well. I also like the coating on the barrel.

I could be looking at it wrong and I still haven't ruled it out but been leaning towards just spending a little more and getting the Benelli Nova. Any input would be great. Thanks.
