The shooter is part of the overall shooting system.

I have shot my rifle, sighted in by me for me, and hit what I aimed at. I've handed it to a friend who is essentially the same build, and he hits consistently 3-4" low. I guess it is the manner in which the gun is held, because we discussed the sight picture (peep sight) we were using and were aiming the same. He tends to apply a death grip with both hands and pulls very tightly to the shoulder. I hold more relaxed with the gun pulled in, but not with the same force.

In the AM, limit youself to short range and if you get a shot be sure to aim in the center of the deer, top to bottom. Then do your shooting at lunchtime. You may be a little surprised with where it shoots for YOU, never know until you shoot it.
