Well had an awesome hunt yesterday evening. I had the perfect wind for a stand i havent hunted yet this year and only sat it once last year. I got in my stand about 4 and in no time had 2 does move in behind me downwind but never smelt me. I let them walk since it was early. About 45 min later had a small 6 point come in and he came to the within 5 yards and stayed for about 20 min. he eventually seen me but he was so curious into what i was that he wouldnt leave. He would start to walk off and then come right back. I then had a spike come into about 30 yards and passed him. I then had a 4 point come in from behind me and he came to within 10 yards and he stuck around for about 10 minutes. I didnt shoot a deer but man having them in that close and being able to watch them is awesome. Both small bucks tried to smelt me. they were trying hard. I was wearing scent lok base slayers and scent lok full season and scent lok gloves and face mask. Im a true believer of it. Every hunt ive been on this year ive had deer move in down wind of me and never spook.
