That's 1 reason why I bought the 270 was because the first year I hunted the creek bottom I missed a really wide and tall racked 8 point that was making a scrape as I was shooting at him, lol. Well to make a long story short, I don't plan on wasting bullets or time with another 243 after that, but my 243 isstill good for "open range" shots. Thanks.
