What exactly do you mean by working hard on this land? Did you put out food plots and such? If you did, then I think you surely should have talked to the landowner right off when you started putting out food plots and told her that you are doing this for your own benefit and not anyone elses. Maybe she would have gotten the picture and talked to you before giving permission to anyone else. If she is a non-hunter she may not understand hunting much and hadn't realized that giving permission to someone else on such a small piece of land would directly effect you in such a way. I think this scenario could have been prevented if you A) you never invited the guy on such a small piece of land in the first place. It is sometimes wise to not reveal hunting areas to others if you don't want them to think they will always be welcome on it. or B) Been more upfront with the landowner and told her that giving permission to more than one person on such a small piece of land would make the hunting unsafe and probably not very productive.
