Good Point, One I had not considered, The state I hunt in does not allow scopes on ML's I will take an interest in this. Check out the Omega X7 -- factory peep sights, nice short/light little rifle. I LOVE mine.
Personally, I don't like break actions.
If you go with an Omega, don't get the cheap composite stock. Pay a little more for a nice laminate one.
The only thing with the X7 or any TC gun with open sights is that some come with a front post the wrong height. If the gun won't zero, call TC and they will send you a taller/shorter one.
