Default ML Turkey....Murphy's Law

A couple of days ago I installed my new 209 extreme conversion kit in my TK2000 shotgun and turkey season just opened. So I was sneaking through the woods down around the backside of my pond hunting turkey. I knew they were there as I saw them when I came home. So I creep up very slowly keeping low, I look through the trees and brush and there is a nice gobbler 25yds away that has his head up looking around. I could not have asked for a better shot.

I thumb the safety off my TK2000 and take aim and just know I am going to be smoking a turkey tonight I squeeze the trigger and BANG.....immediately I knew something was wrong. Absolutely no recoil....usually this thing kicks so damn hard its painful. Turkey runs off in a cloud of smoke. I am saying what is deal here, It should had a monster kick and the turkey at that range should be dead.

Well after thinking through this and taking the weapon apart and inspecting it. I reload it and test fire it....painful kick and the barr rock rooster I shot at 40yds is dead......I like chicken and dumplings also

Then I think to myself and I load it back up put the wad in and this time no lead. Pull the trigger and it feels the same way it did down at the pond. Somewhere, somehow I must have dislodged the over shot wad and I tipped the shotgun gun down and the lead fell out....

Too funny......I truly shot a blank at the tom.
