Why when you can hunt otc in New Mexico for two birds would you want to ? I went to Arizona this past year and assisted a couple of lucky tag winners around the jacob Lake area. We did get into some birds after A LOT of scouting only to have a hoard of hunters pile in on top of use opening day. We litteraly drove over 200 miles on back roads in the Kaibab and saw a grand total of seven jakes and two hens in three days.

In fact we left early the hunting was so poor and the pressure so extreme. We went to the Gila in New Mexico where I called in a bird in the first twenty minutes in the field. Never saw another hunter and was all over birds the entire time. Arizona turkey hunting is a joke compared to its non resident friendly neighbor.
