I haven't had any problems, but a couple years ago I was hunting with my father and called a big tom in. There were a few deer around but they weren't spooked. Anyway, when this tom came in, some deer started walking towards us. The big tom was coming in close, but so where the deer. The turkey came in, 25 yards at the most, from my father, and guess what? That deer walked in between them. He couldn't shoot. The deer wasn't 10-15 yards from him and the tom was on the other side strutting an gobbling. I couldn't beleive it. He never did get a shot at the tom. Said, the only way he could of hit it, was by shooting under the deer. It was some back luck. Anybody else have any trouble with deer while turkey hunting?
