A discussion about the ethics of headshots is a whole separate discussion. I will, however, say that I would be strongly against attempting one under all but the most ideal circumstances, and say that I'd consider most attempts to make a headshot unethical. What if you hit the snout and/or blow the jaw off? Slow, painful death from dehydration/infection.
