i had a really awesome opener today...soon as the sun came up i had 3 does and some fawns feedin on the white oaks im huntin...about 730, 6 turkeys came in and one ole tom had at least a 12 inch beard! after they left, a buck came in that we call tall 2 because he is a cowhorn with about 15 inch spikes...if it wouldnt have been illegal i woulda smoked him at 8 yards at least 100 times...after he left i had a fawn come haul a$$ around the water hole twice like he was in the indy 500 and then left on the same trail he came in on...i wish i'd had the camera rollin it was hilarious i had to keep myself from laughin out loud...if this is any indication as to how my season will go...its gonna be a good un!
