11-87 slug ?
Bare with me.Got a rifled slug barrel for my 11-87.Already had a scope on it and was accurate.New barrel threw it off some but not much.Regular slugs flew very inconsistent,all 2 3/4",tried 2 3/4" sabots,got it very close to being dead on at 25 yards,went to 50 they were a bit low.At this point I had run out of 2 3/4" sabots(only had a box of 5) so tried 3" sabot slugs.They were all low,like 4-6 inches lower than the 2 3/4" sabots at 50 yards.I will be getting some more 2 3/4 sabots and heading to the range next week.?,are the 3" slugs physically larger or do they just have more powder?Is there a better and easier way to get this thing sighted in?
