Are you baiting this spot? If so, try and have your feeder go off earlier. Hopefully, he will realize most of the food is gone by 2:00am and start showing up earlier.
If you are not baiting, then I would b really carefull with your wind, exit and entry strategies. You know he is there and if the area is not pressured he will stay there. Rut is an excellent time for an ambush. Since none of us want to wait until late October to start hunting, I would try hunting late morning as well. Trail cameras only look in one direction. They offer great insight and scounting options, but that buck could be coming down the trail just behind the camera at 9:00am on his way back to the bedding area.
