Taking about a guide!! I would dedfinatley go the guide route to learn the ins and outs of moose hunting. I did the other night with the best of the best whom I'm lucky to have as a best freind. Well I did it solo tonight and had a 22pointer and his bell touched the water as he walked towards me.
Talk about having your back against a wall, LMAO I just couldn't get him in closer than 70 yards and that I did twice. I also had another answer me from my blind side and he caught wind of me as I got a quick glimpse of him as he smashed through the bushes to get away. The moose are rutting hard as I heard the 1st bull 1/4 mile away across a valley grunting with every step before I gould get to him. Now I need to learn to stay ahead of him so that he dosen't smell me.
Oh yeah Kelly that is one majestic animal to have tearing down every peice of shrubery and trees enroute to your position huh! lmao Congrats to you.Great read
