If it's timed right the moose respond very well to calls. The country is beautiful. Made me feel like I stepped back in time. I hunted with Macmillan River Adventures. I would give them the highest recommendation. These guys are serious about moose and making sure you have a chance to harvest one is priority one. So, be ready to work for it cause your guide will. It's expensive due to the length of steps and cost of getting you in and out of the bush not to mention food and fuel. They estimate that due to having to plane every necessity in the cost of a 5 gallon tank of fuel was $ 120. Anyhow, if anyone is truly interested I'd gladly give you all the ins and outs. I was lucky to have stumbled upon the opportunity thru a buddy who had to cancel for personal reasons. His loss was definitely my gain. Anyhow, it's just that freaking cool.
