Good luck predicting rut ... even following the new moon theory ..... the rut is still subject to hunter pressure, temperature,I usually take the first 2 weeks off in November because of cooler weather and deer movement .Peek breeding makes for a long day in the stand unless you have "the" hot doe on the mountain under your stand.I much prefer to hunt the seek and chase part of the rut . good deer movements and bucks searching and frustrated makes for some pretty intense moments in the field.Charly Alsheimers book is pretty accurate and he puts on a heck of a seminar i would recommend to anybody.
