RE: need help picking a front stuffer
If you want to stay on the inexpensive side, I would look at the CVA line. They make a great rifle for the money, whether it is an in-line (A friend shoots a .54 caliber CVA that kicks like a mule when loaded hot) or a side lock (A couple of friends shoot their CVA Hawkins rifles, and I have shot them, they are nice shooting guns). One fellow I know bought a Bobcat I believe it is called. It is a short .50 caliber CVA sidelock he gave less then $100.00 for, and it shoots fine out to the ranges he needs it for. Where we hunt, most shots are close, and that little Bobcat has brought home venison for him. It is not a pretty rifle, but he shoots roundballs out of it, and takes deer with it, which is what you wanted.
Rossi or NEF I have never shot, or seen shot. Good Luck on what ever you get.
