You know, this is funny. I've been hearing all sorts of ammo shortage warnings, yet I've never had a problem getting ammo.
And I live in Ca., where you'd expect it to be worse. Walmart seems to be hit the hardest because of their prices being better, but I can still get a box or two of 30-06 everytime I go in. Every paycheck I like to buy two each of '06, .40, and .17. Internet order 440 rounds of Russian crap for my C&R type rifles. And internet order .45 for my lever gun.
Never had an issue. Maybe if I wanted to buy .223 I would. That seems to be what everyone wants. Or several boxes of the same type. Wally world has a two box limit on each type of ammo so they don't run out too quick. But other stores I go to, don't seem to have such a run on it. I don't mind paying a buck more for ammo since it just happens to be so much closer to my house and I don't have to worry about how many boxes I want.
Are any of you really having that much trouble?
