Hitting the east side, for deer, for sentimental reasons and will move west if needed. For elk, I'm hitting the wet side. Going to take the hunt up a notch and hunt open sights in heavy timbers after the hunters chase them (deer and elk) out of the clearings and easy areas. Looking for horns but in the late season (deer) will take any horn that crosses my path. I have a freezer with a void to fill.

Have to modify my hunt methods since all my hunting partners got old or died, and my age isn't going backwards. Down to one hunting partner left, and his mobility is limited. Miss the 60's and early 70's and the nights around the camp fire.
