Another thing, planting year round makes more sense. If you do that deer will come in and feed in the plots and leave distinct trails where they come and go. Instead of placing your stand overlooking the fields, place them 50 to 100 yards away from the fields overlooking the trails leading to the fields. Thats the way I do it and it works well for me.
well im really into bow hunting so it would have to be alittle closer than 50 to 100 yards and i only have 20 acres to hunt on. i didnt plan on putting it right over the field but it cant be too far from it if im bow hunting
