I recently bought a pair of the scheels 12x54 HD binos. These are as good as any gold rings i have looked through, and comparable to some of the european made binos. If you do not know who scheels is, he owns multiple sporting goods stores but is an extremely avid hunter. Basically he found the people who make the glass for gold rings and made his own binos. They are a fraction of the cost but every bit as good as any zeiss i have ever had. In daylight they are as good as Swaro's but Swaro's have a slight advantage early in the morning.
