Agreed Lanse, to a point. The compound aint a recurve which aint a longbow. Thata was actually part of my point.
The big distinction with ALL the vertical bows is that they all still must be drawn in the presence of the game.
It is also indiputable that the time in preparation practice and tuning needed to shoot accurately and consistently is still far and away more difficult with the most high tech compound when compared to a crossbow.
