First off, you' re thinking too much! If you are thinking and worrying about what you are shooting, or every shot you are shooting, you will make mistakes, and drive yourself nuts.
If the draw is getting harder, and you are having trouble with the bow wanting to creep out of the valley and " rip your arm off" or whatever, the draw length sounds like it is too long. Maybe your string stretched?
After handling a Patriot SC, and getting info from Jeff B. and Frank, I was tempted to get one as well, even though my main bow and two backups are all shooting very well (as long as I am not thinking too much).[&:]
You still have some time, but for me, I don' t want to be making any changes in my equipment this close to hunting season. I have spent too much time scrambling around with equipment at the last minute. It is much better to be confident in your shooting system and yourself between now and Oct. 4.
The leeches with the extended middle section (not sure what they call them) will last much longer than the older ones. They are holding up very well on my Pro 38 DC.
Best of luck finding what you want out of this situation. If your user name is a true indication of your hunting experience, you are gonna need a bow to shoot him with.
