Pyrodex vs Tripple 7 pellets in Genesis.
Have any of you Remington Genesis owners out there tried both Pyrodex and Tripple 7 pellets in your Genesis? If so which did it prefer? Is there a reason to use one over the other in this gun. In the past I used Pyrodex however with this gun I switched to Tripple 7 as that's the gun store had at the time. I ended up checking today and the Pyrodex was $26.99 and the Tripple 7 was $27.99. So it wasn't much of a difference. Both a decent bit cheaper than Wal-Mart. I'm not sure why Wal-Mart seems high on black powder stuff. Most everything else it seems cheaper on. I sighted it in with Tripple 7 although it's shooting a tad low. A few shots I had holes touching at 100 yards and a few I had about a 3" group with so I can't tell if it doesn't like the bullet/powder combo or if it was me shooting it.
I'm shooting a 295 Grain Powerbelt Hollow Point btw.
