Default Hanging stands near existing structures...

I set a stand this weekend on a creek bank running through our woods. It's at a point where where the creek makes a turn so I'm able to see clearly down the north and east runs which is why I choose to set it there.

Only problem is that there's an existing ground blind (plywood box type) about 20 yrds. to the east. My grandfather hunts that blind and its been there for about 5 years so the deer are use to it. He takes quite a few from that spot every year.

I'm hoping that this spot will be a good buck stand as it's near a water source and trail between bedding and feeding areas. My only question is will the blind (which is quite visible) scare away the type of deer that I'm after? Has anyone ever hunted near an existing structure such as a blind and noticed any differences?
