Here is the deal. That report compares Aug 31th 2008 sales to Aug 31th 2009.

The GC is using a different system for reporting this year. You can not really use these numbers to draw any meaning full conclusions.

Yep archery tags are up in that table but guess what? so are every other type of tag. Some even higher than archery.


To summarize

As per GC info Aug 31th 2009 compared to Aug 31th Res and NR #'s combined

General License sales up 16.47%
Archery license sales up 23.59%
Muzzie license sales up 16.11%
Bear license sales up 25.24%
Furtakers license sales up 30.29%
Mig bird license sales up 17.61%
anterless license sales up a 117.01%
