Ran a ballistic sheet for your load... Up here I wil not get that velocity - so that will effect energy quickly. But for your load this is what it looks like....
Dave made another great bullet. His primary concern was for women and children and men that don't like recoil. He made a 150grn bullet with the same controlled fragmenting as the all Brass Lehigh bullets.
So the next question would be... If these 150 grain steel bullets work like the Brass Lehighs - why not make the 200's, 250's, 277's from steel coat them with copper and sell them a greatly reduced price, after all we are just looking for a bullet that works better than average in our minds. Wait he can not do that as steel is lighter than brass so their weight would be reduced some what to stay in the length guidelines - but still... a lot less money
And this is a 200 XTP with a 110 grains of T7...
At the muzzle energy is pretty comparable...
