That's an interesting idea Wingbone. What to use that wouldn't be sticky and/or gum up the action? Teflon spray, Silicone spray, gun oil, WD-40 are all already used on actions and I haven't heard that any of those make clean-up particularly easy. Maybe try some liquid soap thinned with alcohol????
