I got to do a fair amount of shooting this summer with my Knight. As a result, I've gotten pretty efficient at cleaning it. However, cleaning the powder/primer residue out of the action is still a pain. I'm wondering if there is something I could apply to the action beforehand that would make cleanup easier. I harken back to the old camping trick of spreading soap on the outside of your cooking pots to be able to wipe off the campfire soot and residue. Anybody ever come across something like that?
