Here is a very good tip. The only time I have ever came close to falling out of a tree is getting in or out of the stand. I have the clip on type of safety harneess and i put up a strap on the tree w/a rubber coated d-ring so i clip in at the top of my ladder and unclip when i get back on the ladder.
