RE: Is my new bow any good?
Any bow will do the job. Its like others here have mentioned; tune, practice, practice, and then practice somemore.
I shot my first deer many years ago with a black bear. One of the first compound bows. It was loud, very little let off, and very primative cosidered to todays standards. The key is practice. Any bow will do the job, you just have to know it and feel comfortable with it. If you think about it, long bows and recurves have been taking game for years.
