I hunted with a xbow one season, I had cut the tips of two of my fingers off and had to in order to bowhunt. Let me say it was not as challenging as a compound but then again a compound is not as challenging as a recurve, which is not as challenging as a longbow, which is not as challenging as a rock, which is....

you still have to get the deer within 40 yds but you don' t go thru the motions of drawing your bow back. Some people are unable to draw a bow as I was the year I hunted with a xbow. I have no problem with them using a xbow.
