I put high rings on both mine the stocks have fairly high combs and I like the way the high matches up. Also I like the clearance so I can get the hammer back quick and quiet, fighting to get a thumb on the hammer with gloves on and a deer in front of me.
x2 - I did try mounting with medium rings but there was not enough clearance to get at the hammer
