Mixing lube
Hello all.
Last night was a gun cleaning night for me. When finished with cleaning, I will typically lubricate with either "Formula 3" or Birchwood Casey "Barricade" depending upon the gun.
One gun I cleaned last night was a Ruger 10/22. On finishing I put an oiled patch for Formula 3 down the barrel and B/C Barricade on the moving parts of the action and trigger assembly.
Does anyone know of a problem in doing this? I wiped down the excess of both lubricants so there was only a "lite coating" remaining.
But I could not help but wonder is there a problem with using two different lubricants at the same time on the same gun?
Thanks again for all your help.
