I'm partial to my Hoyt... and I know they make a Hawk series line of bows that are very smooth and priced for the budgeted hunter...But all in all you can't go wrong with some of the other sugestions. I agree with the Wis Bow Huntr ... go to a local archery shop if you have one near you shoot serveral different models and find the one that feels right to you!!! It's like test driving a new truck, you won't know how it drives and feels until you get behind the wheel...... Good luck and let us know what you decide on
