I would say that was excellent bullet performance for not hitting a bone of any size. I think I would stay with them. I hit a big Mule deer doe last fall in the same spot with my 250 savage. She showed no sign of being hit either. She only went about 40 yards but it was over a little hill so I would not have known she was down if I had not gone to look. I was so sure of the sight picture as the gun went off that I did the double check. I was using a 100 grain Winchester silvertip.
