We can eat just fine without deer meat, but it helps to have it in the freezer. The past two years I held all shots to less than 30yds. This year, I'm zeroing in the shotgun and muzzleloader to back out to about 85yds to have more opportunity. I've only killed three deer in three years, this year I plan to take as many as possible. With four anterless tags and about ten different either sex weekends I can take a lot of does if I choose, there are too many around us anyway. I'm bagging meat, regardless.
