id start by finding a spot that looks like it could be a place for a tree stand even if you have no idea where the trails are. put your cam up and dump a bucket of corn and a bucket of apples in front of it. if you come back in a 3, 4 days and have pictures of a bunch of different deer its a heavily traveled area and if its the same deer over and over try doing this else where till you find it. good luck
