I have to respectfully disagree, without a question you can be remotely close with a score in velvet. After you've seen a good number of mature bucks before and after shedding you can gauge what they will be after.
You're right but I bet in a couple weeks we'll get to see his true side. I have two bucks that you could start seeing the lose of velvet last week. Can't wait for those pics with all the velvet hanging down.
Hard to tell on age but I say 3.5 and 135-140
