I use exotic hides on almost all of my sheaths and holsters.I recieved some rattlesnake hides a few years ago fresh from a hunter.We called a local Taxidermist and he told me to use 1/3 Acetone,1/3 Denatured alcohol and 1/3 Glycerin to coat the hides with.It worked fine and I have been using the hides.I am curious as to other methods for tanning snakeskins.Thanks.Dave
