I have to admit, you guys are a mighty helpful bunch. I certainly appreciate the offers to get me back on track with the elk, to take what would certainly be some tough venison off my hands, and even offers to help pack ' em out. What more can a guy ask from his friends! It will be no easy task taking that ole boy...the stuff he walked into is thicker than heck, but I plan to ease back in there for a look. I was really glad I had my digital camera in the truck. I had guys that I work with swear I didn' t take that picture around here.

Power: Choteau is just a hop, skip and a jump away (by Montana standards).

Bareback: you are correct on both counts, the left side of his rack is in the trees....he is perfectly balanced. On the second count, Moosedrool is the nectar of the hunting gods....I try to have one or two from time to time.
