I used the hph-12 sabots and the 300gr noslers this morning;what a difference they made. At 75 yards I had a great group going at about 1.5". I was 2 inches high on the first shot and straight above where I was aiming. The next 3 shots were almost touching but an 1.5 to the left of the first shot. Moved the target to 100 yards; first shot was a good flinch shot about 4 inches to the right of where i was aiming. The next 2 were more composed and they were 1 inch high and about 1 inch to the left but they were touching. I couldnt believe the difference. Then I pulled the ultimate screwup; while talking to my brother and a hunting buddy I loaded powder, bullet, powder and another bullet.I realized it as soon as the ramrod went down. First time in 23 years of owning this gun that I have done this.Right now the barrel is soaking in kroil for awhile. The first powder load in front of the breech plug came right out. I couldnt budge the rest. Im hoping soaking it awhile and using a bullet puller will work.Lesson learned today; never ever yap while your loading. Thanks sabotloader for the tip on the sabots. they worked great, so well that I'm shelving the powerbelts this season and sticking with the nosler.
